Holi 2021 - How Can protect you play a safe with color, Healthy Holi during covid-19

Holi is a Hindu festival. Holi is the color of the festival. we excited to play with family and friends. Holi color and celebrates the arrival of spring. Holi is one of the most popular Hindu festivals and is celebrated by people of many religions, both young and elderly.

Like many festivals, Holi is celebrated in different ways by people of different faiths and backgrounds. What remains the same is the warmth and the spirit of this day. Whether you’re lighting the Holika bonfire, playing with colors, or visiting friends and family, Holi is a wonderful celebration to bring the community together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.

To enjoy the festival in a safe and healthy manner, here are some tips and important precautions:

1. Do not play in large groups, stay away from big gatherings.
2. Avoid water colors. Do not smear colours on your face or on the faces of others. Just throw it from a distance.

3. If you are suffering even from mild cold or cough, do not venture out during celebrations.

4. Using natural colours.

5. Avoid eating anything before taking a shower.

6. If you have traveled recently to any of the coronavirus hit countries, do not mingle with the crowd for celebrations.

7. Clean your hands before you put your mask on, as well as before and after you take it off, and after you touch it at any time.

Celebrate a Safe & Happy Diwali 2020 in Covid-19

 Everyone excited to celebrated Deepawali with family. Diwali is the festival of lightsThis year, Diwali is very safe to celebrate Diwali with friends and family during Covid-19. Diwali means delicious food, rangoli, lights, and a display of colorful fireworks. 

Are you looking forward for the festivities and family time? As you get busy with the celebrations it is also important to take some safety precautions. Many accidents take place during Diwali.

Did you know? These dazzling fireworks lead to thousands of emergency room visits each year during Diwali. They may cause serious injuries, some of which are irreversible. Firecrackers cause noise pollution as well as air pollution and they are best avoided. However, some families continue to burst firecrackers for their children. Here are a few ways to celebrate Diwali in a healthy and safe manner. As a responsible parent and citizen, you must ensure that everyone enjoys the festivities wholeheartedly and safely:

1. Don’t use sanitizer before lighting Diya/candles

Refrain from using hand sanitizers which are alcohol-based before lighting Deepak, candles, or any such thing. This is because sanitizers are inflammable and can cause fire hazards. It is recommended by the experts that you wash your hands with soap and water before doing anything which involves lighting fire.

2. Keep sanitizer away from fire

Sanitizer bottles are common in households and people keep it handy due to ward off the germs during COVID-19 pandemic. But, since maximum sanitizers are alcohol-based, they can easily catch fire. Therefore, keep your sanitizer bottles on a safe place.

3. Maintain physical distancing

Yes, we know Festivity is all about togetherness and strengthening bonds. This festive season, try and adjust to the new normal and avoid meeting people physically. It is recommended that you celebrate Diwali this year staying indoors mostly. However, if you are meeting someone, fold your hands in namaste or greet in any other way without physical contact.

4. Don’t forget your mask

It is significant to be responsible and take mandatory precautions. COVID-19  pandemic this year has made the use of mask necessary. Therefore, every time you step out, don’t forget to cover your nose and mouth to save yourself from getting infected.

Why Celebrate shivratri 2020?

The festival is celebrated on the new moon day in the month of Maagha according to the Hindu calendar. The day is celebrated to venerate Lord Shiva, an important deity in Hindu culture.

Maha Shivratri is a Hindu festival which is celebrated by people following Hinduism in India. People often fast on the night of Shivratri and sing hymns and praises in the name of Lord Shiva. 



Hindu temples across the country are decorated with lights and colorful decorations and people can be seen offering night long prayers to Shiva Lingam. Wood apple leaves, cold water, and milk are offered to the Shiva Lingam on this day as they are believed to be Lord Shiva's favorite.

It is believed that the people who fast on this night and offer prayers to Lord Shiva bring good luck into their life. 

The most popular Maha Shivratri celebrations take place in Ujjain, believed to be the place of residence of Lord Shiva. 

Large processions are carried out throughout the city, with people thronging the streets to catch a glimpse of the revered idol of Lord Shiva.
